I've been ordering Toasti-toes from Amazon for a couple of years now. I have had more than a few batches, and each box has been wonderful. However, with this last order, they arrived in a large manila envelope rather than the brand box...and several of the packs have not worked adequately. Either they barely warm up at all, or their heat only lasts a couple of hours instead of the typical 6-8. Again, this is the first time I've had a problem, but it was disappointing.

Do not buy this product from this retailer. It is not producing any heat at all. I work outside and my feet were cold. It does not work at all. Moreover, the package became torn by the end of the day and some kind powder was falling through and my boots were full of that stuff. I had another brand before with no problem at all.

I work outdoors all day (the only time I step foot inside a warm space is on lunch breaks) and when winter hit, I ordered a couple boxes of these. They are absolutely useless if you use them as instructed. My feet were still cold, even with the 400 gram thinsulation in my red wings. Even when going against the advice of keeping the fabric aimed away from your body, it still generates far too little heat. The only way this product is remotely serviceable is using two products at a time, one of top of the foot, one on the bottom, with the fabric lining aimed at your skin.

I tried a pair of grabber brand insoles and those are like walking on fire. They're great. I'm about to buy a couple of boxes now to last me the rest of the winter. The only downside with those is that they are double the price of ToastiToes insoles (but ToastiToes don't work) and they only last 5 hours so half way through the day you'll half to switch them out.
